Campaigners want a change to the law that prevents women going topless on beaches.
Women in Brazil staged a topless protest to call
for the changing of the law which prohibits them from going topless at
the beach.
The Women went bare-chested in
different Brazilian beaches to take part in the demonstration also
highlighting the cultural issues surrounding the freedom of women’s
bodies.
According to Brazilian law, women who go topless can face a fine or even bag a year-jail-sentence.

Ana Paula Nogueira, who launched the
campaign in 2013 via Facebook, hopes to encourage people to see the act
of going topless as something pure and natural.
